Kratos integrates Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) technology with its state of the art simulation systems and instructional design to develop synthetic training environments (STE) that reduce costs, increase speed to market and deliver fidelity performance.

Kratos VR solutions have been in production for a decade. When combined with motion base platforms, hoist and weapons simulators the user receives a fully immersive experience of rotor-wing aircrew operations.

Augmented Reality (AR) systems provide a combination of computer generated (CG) entities with real world entities (aircrew members). It gives the operator the ability to see actual crew members in the training environment while they’re interacting with real world objects.

Kratos is continually investing in IR&D efforts to design, develop and integrate Mixed Reality solutions. The possibilities are significant for military, medical and other educational purposes as MR allows direct manipulation of real environments that are seen with the human eye to be changed into a scenario based training environment.
